- iPhone: a standard configuration profile: Download a .mobileconfig profile from Contactzilla and upload it to your MDM. Contacts appear in the native Contacts app.
- Android: Managed Google Play: Deploy the Contactzilla Sync app with a managed configuration, and contacts sync into the native Android Contacts app.
- Works with the MDM you already run: Intune, Jamf, Mosyle, Workspace ONE, MaaS360, Hexnode, NinjaOne, SOTI and ManageEngine.
- Central updates, native contacts: Update a number once in Google Workspace and every managed phone picks up the change, with caller ID.

Can I get the Google Workspace Directory into iPhone and Android Contacts?
Yes. Google Workspace won't do it natively: a work account on a phone syncs each person's My Contacts, and the Directory can only be searched. Is Contactzilla the best shared contacts tool for Google Workspace teams?
It is built for exactly that job. Marketplace apps share labels inside Google Contacts; Contactzilla puts a read-only company directory in the phone's own Contacts app, through your MDM or a QR code, with caller ID. If you only need to share contacts inside Gmail, Google's own options may be enough: our Google shared contacts guide explains them.
Do staff need to install anything?
Not on iPhone. The contacts arrive as an account in the built-in Contacts app, pushed by your MDM or added with a QR code. Android phones use the Contactzilla Sync app, which your MDM can install from Managed Google Play or staff can install from Google Play.
Does Contactzilla change anything in our Google Workspace?
No. The importer uses a read-only Directory scope through your own Google Cloud project. It reads users; it never creates, edits or deletes anything in Google Workspace.
Can staff edit or delete the company contacts?
Not with a read-only connection. Staff can call, message and search, while changes are made once in Google Workspace and come through on the next sync.
How often do the contacts update?
As often as you set the import to run: manually, hourly, daily, weekly or monthly. Phones pick up the changes on their next sync.
Can we also sync our Contactzilla contacts into Google shared contacts?
Yes. Contactzilla can export an address book to Google's domain shared contacts on a schedule, so a supplier list appears in everyone's Gmail autocomplete as well as on their phones. The Google shared contacts guide covers how that works and its limits.
