Supercharging Contactzilla with Zapier Integration

Introduction
At Contactzilla, we’re always listening to our customers. We know that everyone has their own unique way of working, and we’re constantly looking for ways to make our product fit seamlessly into your workflow. Recently, we’ve received some requests for a way to connect Contactzilla with other apps and automate workflows. We’re excited to share that, in response, we’ve developed a Zapier integration for Contactzilla.
For those not familiar, Zapier is a powerful platform that lets you connect different apps and create automated workflows between them. By integrating Contactzilla with Zapier, you can connect your contact management with over 5,000 other apps. The possibilities are almost endless!
We’ve been working hard behind the scenes to craft this Zapier integration based on specific requests and requirements from some of our customers who have requested it.
We’re working closely with them to ensure it meets their needs.
While the Zapier integration is not yet available to all users, we’re excited about its potential to enhance the flexibility and functionality of Contactzilla. We’ll be continuing to refine and expand this feature based on the feedback and experiences of our initial customer group.

Do more with your contacts with our Zapier Integration
So, how exactly can you use this to make your life easier? Here’s a couple of examples to spark your imagination.
Let’s say a potential customer fills out a form on your website to download an eBook or whitepaper. The form is built using a tool like Google Forms, or Typeform. When the form is submitted, a Zap is triggered.
- The Zap takes the information from the form submission (name, email, company, etc.) and uses the “Create Contact” action in Contactzilla to add this new lead to your address book.
- The Zap could also add a tag or custom field value to the new contact to indicate the source (e.g., “eBook Download Form”).
- A slack message could be triggered to inform your team that a new contact has been created.
In this scenario, the Zapier integration is used to automatically add new contacts to Contactzilla from a lead generation form, saving you the manual effort of importing or creating those contacts yourself.
Alternatively, let’s say you use Calendly to schedule meetings with potential clients. Wouldn’t it be great if those new Calendly bookings were automatically added to Contactzilla as new contacts? To do it you’d set up a Zap that:
- Triggers whenever a new booking is made in Calendly
- Extracts the booker’s name, email, and any other relevant info from the Calendly booking
- Uses Contactzilla’s “Create Contact” action to add a new contact with that info
Now, every time someone books a meeting with you on Calendly, they’ll automatically be added to your Contactzilla address book. No manual data entry required.
These are just a couple of examples, but the sky’s the limit when it comes to automating your contact management workflows with our Zapier integration. We can’t wait to see how you’ll use it to save time!

We’re thrilled to announce that we’re hard at work on Contactzilla version 2, set to launch later this year. While the current Zapier integration is a big step forward, version 2 will take things to a whole new level!
