You know how hard it can be sometimes to pull a full trash bag out of the can? It’s as if you’re having a tug-of-war with the bin—every time you pull, it seems to suck the bag back again.
That happens because you create a vacuum at the bottom of the bin when you pull the bag upwards. To avoid this niggling delay in your work day, cut a hole out of the bottom of your trash container to let air in and prevent the vacuum from forming. Problem solved!
