Plan out your meeting agenda with a tight schedule, allocating a specific time slot to each action item, to make people get to the point or risk running out of time. If you also keep meetings to 30 minutes or less, everyone will know you’re not there to waste any time! If a particular item requires extra attention, schedule a 15 minute round up with only the necessary people involved.
