It’s simple, really: imagine how much time your team wastes on conversations like this:
“I’m gonna get a coffee, you want one?”
“I prefer tea, actually.”
“So can I get you a tea instead?”
“That would be awesome, thanks!”
“Do you take sugar? What about milk?” … and so on.
Make a list of one favourite drink for each person in your workplace, then post it in a convenient location (I use Evernote) where everyone can see it on their way to get a drink. This one easy hack can save several minutes, several times a day, with just a small amount of effort.
Better yet, you can surprise your team with their favorite drinks, and look good doing it!
